Our client, an independent music company, is seeking a Marketing and A&R Assistant . This is a supportive role involving diverse aspects of music publishing and marketing. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for art, music, and culture. Key responsibilities will include: • Working across the administration of the Publishing and Records aspects of the business. • Listening to and helping manage the catalogue of songs in the company database. • Attending gigs and showcases as required. • Creating label copy. • Registering songs with PPL and the Publishing Administrator. • Creating catalogue numbers and barcordes. • Updating repertoire documents. • Liaising with the manufacturer and distributor on all physical releases. • Initiating releases with the company’s distributors. • Maintaining the company’s social media and website. • Assisting with the launch of events and campaign events. • Supporting the Head of Marketing and Campaign Managers with their campaigns. • Updating the release schedule. • Collecting and distributing campaign assets. • Uploading and organising marketing assets to SharePoint. • Supporting with office administration, organising meetings, calendars, travel and general administration.
