We’re looking for a piano/keyboard teacher — ideally someone who can also teach vocals — to join our team.

Current Teaching Hours

  • Saturdays: 9:00am – 2:00pm (Existing piano/keyboard students ready to take over)
  • Weekday evenings: Between 4:00pm – 8:30pm (one or more evenings)
  • Additional hours available as the school expands

Teachers must be confident in both classical and contemporary styles.

Requirements

  • Confident teaching both 1-to-1 and paired lessons
  • Fluent music reading (ideally up to Grade 8 piano)
  • Experience preparing students for graded exams (e.g. RSL or similar)
  • Strong focus on student progress and musical development
  • Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Self-employed: responsible for own tax/NI and monthly invoicing
  • Can teach Piano/Keyboard and Vocals
  • Experience with exam syllabuses
  • Additional hours as the school grows
  • Involvement in concerts, holiday workshops, and Yamaha training
