Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Pay Range: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians in Birmingham, Alabama. These are full-time roles, including direct hire, short-term, and long-term contract opportunities with employers who value reliability, technical expertise, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues on industrial equipment
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 3-phase power
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Operate forklifts or cranes to move heavy components when required
- Complete daily task lists and respond to unscheduled maintenance needs
- Document maintenance work including parts used and repairs completed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and CNC equipment is a plus
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly; more occasionally as needed
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members
