Are you the kind of person who notices TikTok trends before anyone else? Do you spend time on Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts? Perhaps you already have your own following or you simply enjoy posting in your spare time. This is your chance to take that passion and turn it into a career, helping brands use social media in new and creative ways.

Why The Munro Agency

We help ambitious B2B brands grow through marketing that combines creativity and data. Our work with SaaS companies, start ups and established professional services firms is fuelled by a supportive culture that values good ideas and collaboration. You will be joining a close team where your input will be valued.

As our Social Media Content Creator you will be involved in capturing and editing video content, experimenting with new trends and helping to tell our clients’ stories in a way that is engaging and enjoyable to watch. You will take existing content and repurpose it for social channels, and you will learn how to bring the energy of consumer style social media into the business world.

Where you will work

We offer hybrid flexibility. You can work remotely most of the time, with regular time spent in our vibrant Glasgow city centre offices for collaboration. During your probation period you will spend the majority of your week in the Glasgow office, because learning directly alongside your colleagues is the best way to start.

What you will be doing

  • Capture and edit video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts
  • Repurpose existing content such as blogs, webinars and events into short social assets
  • Explore new audio tracks, formats and trends and bring ideas to the team
  • Use editing tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe Premiere to produce engaging work
  • Post, schedule and monitor content performance and report back on what is working
  • Work with Account Managers to ensure content supports wider campaigns

What you will bring

  • A genuine interest in social media and an active presence on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube
  • Perhaps you already have a following or regularly post content for fun
  • Video editing skills in tools such as CapCut, Canva, Premiere or Final Cut
  • A creative eye for storytelling and content that captures attention
  • Confidence to share ideas and occasionally appear on camera
  • Curiosity about how to take inspiration from consumer social media and apply it in B2B
  • Any experience managing brand accounts is helpful but not essential

You will thrive here if you

  • Enjoy experimenting with content and learning quickly
  • Want to influence how businesses use social media in new ways
  • Like working in a fast growing environment where ideas move quickly from planning to execution
