This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who lives and breathes search engine optimisation and wants to make a real impact across a variety of B2B clients. We’re especially keen to hear from those who are excited by the evolution of search—from traditional rankings to AI Overviews and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO). If you’re curious about how content is surfaced in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE), you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Do
- Own and deliver comprehensive SEO strategies across multiple client accounts.
- Conduct technical SEO audits, keyword research, content planning, and competitor analysis.
- Lead AEO initiatives by structuring content for AI visibility, including schema, structured data, semantic search optimisation, and conversational queries.
- Monitor and improve site performance, page speed, indexing, and crawlability.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO is embedded from ideation to implementation.
- Track rankings, organic traffic, AI referral traffic, and conversions using GA4, Search Console, and third-party tools.
- Stay ahead of the curve on algorithm updates, AI-generated content, and the shifting SERP landscape.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of SEO, from technical foundations to off-page authority building.
- Create structured content and metadata with AEO in mind (FAQ formats, semantic headings, schema markup).
- Optimise for visibility in emerging platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews.
- Translate data into clear performance reports and actionable strategy updates.
- Support the Director with high-priority client strategy and internal training on AI search trends.
What are the role requirements?
- 3+ years of proven SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and modern content strategy.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Screaming Frog, Semrush, Search Console, GA4, and schema generators.
- A clear understanding of how AI and LLMs are reshaping the search landscape—and the curiosity to keep learning.
- Comfortable writing or briefing content optimised for both humans and machines.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Who excels in this role?
- You think beyond rankings and know how to optimise for visibility across AI platforms.
- You’re excited by the future of search—and want to help shape it.

- You’re proactive, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-moving, ideas-driven environment.
