Why The Munro Agency? We power ambitious B2B brands with growth-driven marketing. Creative thinking, data-led action and a genuinely empathetic culture fuel our work with SaaS disruptors, high-growth start-ups and established professional services firms. You’ll join a tight team where good ideas (and even bad jokes) get airtime.
Your Opportunity: As our Junior Marketing Executive, you’ll support the wider team across a range of campaigns—from email automation and lead generation to web updates and performance tracking. You’ll collaborate with Account Managers, Copywriters and Paid Media Specialists to get practical experience across the B2B funnel. We’re not looking for flashy brand work—we’re looking for someone who enjoys the logic, systems and measurable impact behind modern marketing.
Where you’ll work: We typically work from our serviced office in the centre of Glasgow, just a two-minute walk from Central Station. Most of the team is in 3 to 4 days a week. There’s free coffee, snacks, team lunches, and an endless supply of tea and biscuits.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support email marketing campaigns and manage automation tools
- Assist with content uploads, simple landing pages and light website edits
- Track performance using Google Analytics, search tools and CRM data
- Prepare campaign reports and flag optimisation opportunities
- Research audience segments, keywords and competitors
- Help coordinate campaign assets and support team execution
- Stay curious—spot what’s working and suggest ideas worth testing
What you’ll bring:
- Ideally, 6–12 months of hands-on experience through an internship, placement or junior role
- A keen interest in the technical and analytical side of marketing
- Confidence using basic tools like Google Docs, Sheets and Canva
- Some exposure to platforms like HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics or SharpSpring is a bonus
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Comfortable writing clear, concise copy (no fluff)
You’ll thrive here if you…
- Want to build real-world experience in automation, analytics and lead generation
- Like working in a fast-paced, pragmatic environment where things actually get done
- Prefer performance-led marketing over pretty branding
Compensation & Perks:
- Starting salary: ÂŁ22,500, rising to ÂŁ25,000 after successful six-month probation
- Company pension and 30 days’ holiday, plus your birthday off
- Flexible hours after probation
- Annual learning & development budget
- Google Ads and Analytics certifications on us
- Marketing Automation certification
The “terrible” bits:
- Early-Finish Fridays—sorry, you’ll have to start your weekend early
- Dad jokes from the director—brace yourself
- Cheesecake Tuesdays—yes, forced cake consumption
- Monthly team lunch—food you don’t have to pay for, shocking
- Your face may become an emoji in Slack
- Legendary Christmas parties—memory loss disclaimer
