THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY

We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal
Hotel & Spa MGallery in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this
historic building, bringing it back to life. Our Heartists aspire to
create memorable, heartfelt moments for all life enjoyers to experience unique
stories from the past but also to immerse themselves into our hospitality,
creating their own astonishing tales of MGallery magical moments. We
boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the
city. Time is of essence and at the heart of The Municipal’s story. The
iconic clock tower and bells giving the tempo to a timeless melody.
Various restaurants, bars and a state-of-the-art spa sanctuary experience, will
offer everyone the place to have the time of their lives, pause the clock and
embark upon their own magical journey with MGallery.

What you\’ll be doing…

As the Door Person at the Municipal Hotel & Spa, M
Gallery Collection, you will be the first and last point of contact for our
guests, setting the tone for their entire experience. This highly visible role
requires a personable, professional, and welcoming individual who takes pride
in delivering exceptional service. You will embody the warmth and charm of our
5-star hotel, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure with a genuine
    smile and personalised service.
  • Assist with opening doors, calling taxis, providing directions, and
    escorting guests as required.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance with
    luggage (lifting required), valet, or general enquiries.
  • Maintain a strong presence at the hotel entrance, offering a
    professional and approachable demeanour at all times.
  • Liaise closely with Concierge and Reception teams to ensure
    seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide accurate local knowledge about Liverpool’s attractions,
    restaurants, events, and transport.
  • Ensure the entrance area is clean, safe, and presentable at all
    times.
  • Handle any guest concerns or queries discreetly and professionally,
    escalating where necessary.
  • Uphold the hotel’s grooming and uniform standards to reflect a
    5-star appearance.
  • Ensure security awareness, monitoring the front area for any
    suspicious behaviour or safety concerns.
