Job Overview:
We are looking for someone who will support the Registered Service Manager, to implement innovation whilst maintaining a positive environment for both those we support and our amazing staff group. This role is ideal for those ready for the next step on the career ladder.
Our Glasgow Housing Support Service provides personalised support to approximately 20 individuals with learning disabilities and other associated conditions, residing within Glasgow and surrounding areas. The individuals we support have their own tenancies with local Housing Associations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Service Manager with the delivery of the service.
- Ensure a high-quality person-centred approach is delivered.
- Manage a team effectively.
- Lead by example and deliver high-quality, flexible person-centred support.
Shift working including evenings and weekends is a requirement of the post, sleepovers may also be required on occasion as well as out of hours on call. Previous working experience with the client group is preferred and previous supervisory experience is desirable.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess excellent organisational skills and IT skills. Experience of MS Office is essential, particularly Word and Excel.
