Salary: £12.82 per hour

Contract: Part time, Permanent

Hours: Various contracts available - dayshift and nightshift

Driver Preferred For Dayshift Role: Our organisation was established in the mid-70s with the goal of providing outstanding social care for individuals with diverse support needs. Mitre House is a small residential care home in Pollok where we support five adults who have a learning disability and, in some cases, associated physical disabilities. We all have learning or physical disabilities, but that doesn’t stop us from having fun! We love going out to clubs, the cinema, and for meals, and we enjoy being part of our local community. We also like spending time indoors, playing games or relaxing together.

About You

  • Confident and can help us with everyday needs like cooking, cleaning, and getting ready for the day.
  • Proactive, taking the lead in ensuring we get to do the things we love.
  • Energetic and positive, bringing laughter and enthusiasm into our home.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting with personal care, meals, and everyday tasks.
  • Helping us go out and about, whether it’s to a club, the cinema, or just around the community.
  • Ensuring our house remains clean and tidy through deep cleaning and routine night-time tasks.
  • Monitoring and providing support to all people we support throughout the night.
  • Encouraging independence and choice-making.
  • Being a friend we can rely on to brighten our day.
