MSS Facilities Ltd and the RSK Group are recruiting for match day cleaners at Cardiff Rugby Club. This is a zero hours contract but the work will be typically 4 hour shifts.
The MSS Group is a specialist provider of facilities, industrial and environmental services with expertise in hazardous, highly regulated and complex environments.
The Role
To provide high quality cleaning support during match days, ensuring spectator, hospitality, media and operational facilities remain clean, presentable and safe throughout the event. The role will form part of the match day cleaning team and will support both scheduled cleaning duties and reactive cleaning requirements before, during and following the match as directed by the supervisor.
Accountabilities
- Report to the designated cleaning supervisor at the start of each shift for allocation of duties.
- Carry out cleaning duties across designated match day facilities including spectator areas, washrooms, hospitality spaces, circulation routes and operational support areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of public facing facilities before gates open, throughout the event and during the post-event clean where required.
- Empty waste bins and remove litter in accordance with site procedures.
- Sweep, litter pick, vacuum and damp mop floors and walkways as instructed.
- Clean and replenish washroom facilities including soap, toilet rolls and other consumable products.
- Carry out spot cleaning and respond promptly to spillages or other reactive cleaning requirements during the event.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in hospitality, media and spectator environments.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely in accordance with company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider cleaning and facilities teams to deliver a first class service to the client.
- Complete any additional cleaning duties reasonably requested by the supervisor.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Previous cleaning experience or willingness to undertake cleaning duties.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Manual handling capability.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and match days.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of COSHH procedures.
- Experience working within large events or stadium environments.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Β£13.45 per hour
