Position Summary: Security Officer – part‑time, permanent position at our client’s site in Barry, UK. Hours are Friday & Monday 6am to 6pm (24 hours). The MSS Group is a specialist provider of facilities, industrial and environmental services with expertise in hazardous, highly regulated and complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed KPI targets set by Site Manager in liaison with the client
- Conduct Personnel and Vehicle searches
- Adhere to policy and procedures, without failure
- Report and react to any security or site non compliances
- To be customer & service provision focussed
- Carry out daily patrols
- To work as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and polite manner at all times
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Be physically fit
- Security experience
- Ability to remain calm in demanding situations
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Minimum 5 year checkable work history
- A valid SIA Licence
- Willing to assist with cover shifts
Salary and Benefits:
