What you'll do
- Lead the design, development and maintenance of software applications, ensuring quality, efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team on tooling, CI/CD and deployment process improvements.
- Produce clean, maintainable, scalable code.
- Debug, resolve issues, fix bugs and optimise performance across the stack.
- Provide technical direction to the team through code reviews and mentoring.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply learning to improve development processes.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation for design, code, tests and user‑facing technical materials where required.
- Act as a liaison between Engineering and Senior Management, communicating progress, risks and technical challenges.
Who you are
- Strong commercial experience with C# .NET.
- Solid SQL/MySQL experience.
- Proven experience developing enterprise‑grade single‑page applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with strong expertise in modern frameworks.
- Confident with Git and source control best practices.
- Strong grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, software design and architecture.
- Experience with TDD.
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent collaborator and communicator, with a problem‑solving mindset.
