Job Opportunity: Project Manager for Data Migration Project

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact Databricks migration project, consolidating data from multiple platforms into a single source of truth. This is a critical initiative for our business, requiring a proactive and experienced leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end migration of data platforms to our new Databricks platform, collaborating with various data teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies across different data sources and platforms.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across technical, data, and business teams.
  • Deliver a robust, scalable, and strategic data environment to support decision-making.
  • Apply proven experience in data migration or modernization projects, preferably involving Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
  • Maintain strong project management practices to keep the program on track.
  • Engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently.
  • Adopt a hands-on, delivery-focused approach to ensure project success.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or legacy data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of data governance and architecture principles.
