The Mounts Medical Centre is looking for a newly qualified/experienced, enthusiastic motivated GP to join our dedicated team.
Main duties of the job:
- Provide high quality patient care.
- Carry out surgery, telephone and video consultations and undertake home visits.
- Liaise with other team members and organisations involved in patient care and respond promptly to queries.
- Investigate and refer patients as appropriate in line with current guidance.
- Deal promptly with results and correspondence.
- Provide cover as required when other GPs are on leave.
- Collect data for audit and QoF purposes.
- Excellent communication with patients and carers.
- Attend clinical, clinical governance and educational meetings.
- Strong team player.
- Strong collaborative working relationships with partners and all team members.
- Effectively manage own time, workload and resources.
- Attend required training events e.g. PLT and feedback.
- Reporting of Significant Incidents involving the practice.

Person Specification:
- A vocational trained and accredited GP, preferably MRCGP.
- Current registration with the GMC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- IT proficiency and familiarity with primary care clinical systems (the practice uses TPP SystmOne).
- Excellent time keeping.
- Exceptional team player.
- Good understanding of GMS contracting requirements and QoF.
