About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Meetings & Events Supervisor to join our team. You’ll play a key role in the end-to-end delivery of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service across a varied calendar of corporate, private and brand-led occasions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and host the delivery of meetings, conferences, weddings, trade shows, private parties and other events
- Act as the main on-duty host for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
- Lead, train, brief, and motivate catering and event staff to deliver high standards of service
- Ensure health, safety and hygiene compliance across all event activities
- Maintain strong communication with Operations, Kitchen, Sales teams and external suppliers
- Proactively solve on-site challenges with calm professionalism
- Uphold presentation, service and commercial standards that reflect our brand values
Person Specification
- Proven supervisory experience in hospitality, events, banqueting or meetings environments
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proactive problem-solver with a guest-focused attitude
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how exceptional service drives repeat business
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible working hours are essential, including weekends and some late evenings
Typical Working Conditions
This role involves long periods on your feet and working in a dynamic environment with varying demands throughout the week. You’ll support a wide range of events - from business meetings and conferences to weddings, trade shows, private celebrations and community functions.
