We’re seeking an experienced Meetings & Events Supervisor to oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service across a varied calendar.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and host the delivery of meetings, conferences, weddings, trade shows, private parties and other events.
- Act as the main on‑duty host for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Lead, train, brief, and motivate catering and event staff to deliver high standards of service.
- Ensure health, safety and hygiene compliance across all event activities.
- Maintain strong communication with Operations, Kitchen, Sales teams and external suppliers.
- Proactively solve on‑site challenges with calm professionalism.
- Uphold presentation, service and commercial standards that reflect our brand values.
- Proven supervisory experience in hospitality, events, banqueting or meeting environments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proactive problem‑solver with a guest‑focused attitude.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how exceptional service drives repeat business.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail in a fast‑paced setting.
- Flexible working hours are essential, including weekends and some late evenings.
This role involves long periods on your feet and working in a dynamic environment with varying demands throughout the week. You’ll support a wide range of events – from business meetings and conferences to weddings, trade shows, private celebrations and community functions.
