The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, creative Content Creator to support and execute content across the entire business. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Executive, who sets campaign direction, priorities, and overall marketing activity—while you bring it all to life through content. This means you’ll focus on creating, capturing, and delivering high-quality content, while strategy, planning, and wider marketing activity are coordinated alongside you. This is an on-site, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Your work will directly influence footfall, bookings, and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Content (Core Driver)
- Create daily and weekly content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Capture car meets, supercar events, bike nights
- Create food and drink content for the restaurant and café
- Produce content for retail products and merchandise
- Capture garage and workshop activity
- Produce reels and TikToks (priority), stories, and static posts
- Goal: Build reach, engagement, and community.
- Event Promotion and Coverage (Critical Focus)
- Create pre-event promotional content such as trailers and countdowns
- Attend weekly and large-scale events
- Capture live photo and video content
- Deliver same-day content and post-event recaps
- Multi-Department Content Creation
- Garage and Bodyshop: Repairs, servicing, MOTs, detailing, educational and trust-building content, before and after transformations
- Food and Beverage: Dishes, drinks, menus, atmosphere and customer experience, launches and promotions
- Retail Store: Products, merchandise, and gifts, promotional and seasonal content
- Corporate and Private Hire: Professional, polished content for event spaces and business use
- Brand Storytelling and Community
- Feature visitors, members, and car owners
- Create “car of the day” and customer spotlights
- Capture the atmosphere, people, and social experience
- Photography and Videography
- Shoot cars, food, people, and the venue
- Film cinematic automotive content
- Edit fast-paced, social-first videos
- Maintain a consistent visual style
- Website, Email and Marketing Content
- Write blog posts including event recaps and features
- Create landing page content for events and services
- Support and build email newsletters and marketing campaigns
- Plan and create content for regular mailers and announcements
- Optimise content for SEO
- Community Management & Customer Interaction
- Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and enquiries across social platforms
- Engage with the community to build relationships and brand loyalty
- Support customer experience through fast, professional responses
- Car Clubs, Reviews & Engagement
- Assist with car club communications and content
- Support visiting clubs and groups with coverage and promotion
- Capture and share customer reviews, testimonials, and user-generated content
- Help showcase the community and club culture at The Motorist
- Partnerships & Collaborations
- Capture content with brands, car clubs, and corporate clients
- Produce co-branded and sponsored content
- Support cross-promotion
- Graphic Design & Internal Support
- Create simple graphics for social media, events, and promotions
- Support Heads of Department with marketing materials
- Assist with visual assets for campaigns across different areas of the business
- Analytics and Performance
- Track engagement and content performance
- Identify what works best
- Feed insights back into content (working with the Marketing Executive)

What We’re Looking For
