About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. This role is vital in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment. The Kitchen Porter will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, particularly during busy service periods. Key Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients when required.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring work areas remain clean, organised, and well stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and equipment throughout service.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and follow recycling procedures in line with company standards.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and storing food and kitchen supplies correctly.
