Role Description

We are seeking a Mortgage Administrator for a contract position based in our Exeter office. The successful candidate will support our advisers and clients throughout the mortgage process, ensuring a smooth and professional journey from application to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling client enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
  • Managing mortgage applications and progressing cases
  • Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors, and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Assisting with financial documentation, reporting, and general administrative tasks
  • Supporting advisers to ensure timely and efficient case management

This role is suitable for:

  • A motivated individual looking to start a career in financial services, supported through a Level 3 Apprenticeship in partnership with Exeter College
  • Someone with existing experience in financial services or administration.

Qualifications & Skills

Apprenticeship Pathway

  • Meeting the required GCSE/academic entry grades for apprenticeship guidelines
  • Proficiency in English and Maths

Experienced Candidates

  • Previous experience in financial services is preferred
  • Mortgage experience is an advantage but not essential
