Overview
This is a full-time, permanent Mortgage Administrator position based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, offering a salary of Β£35,000 per year plus a bonus scheme.
- Location: Hamilton office (In-person)
- Salary: Β£35,000 per year + generous bonus scheme
- Hours: Approx. 40 hours/week (Mon-Thu: 9 am-5 pm, Fri: 8 am-3 pm)
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Case Management: Progressing mortgage applications from submission to legal completion.
- Support: Providing administrative support to the sales team and liaising with Mortgage Advisers
- Communication: Acting as the primary contact for client, lender, and conveyancer queries
- Compliance: Ensuring all files and activities meet regulatory requirements
- System Maintenance: Updating and maintaining CRM systems and client file
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven administration experience within a mortgage or financial services environment (2+ years preferred)
- Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and IT skills (Excel and Word)
- Knowledge: Experience in packaging 2nd charge mortgages is beneficial
- Attributes: High attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player
