The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 £ per year.

Min. 10 years of progressive business experience in an HR management and leadership position to include the following: talent management, learning and development, recruitment, organizational development, succession planning, and compensation, preferably with a well-known engineering and/or upstream oil and gas firm.

Bachelor's Degree is required; preferably in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; MBA is strongly preferred.

Professional Designation is preferred.

Demonstrated skill with developing long-term strategic plans and leading/participating in short-term operational implementation (ability to be both strategic and tactical).

Demonstrated expertise with the development, implementation, and facilitation of recruiting or employment branding, training and development, succession, and retention strategies.

Effective interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proven leadership with the ability to inspire others to work toward a common goal and reach their potential.

Hands-on management style that emphasizes direct involvement in day-to-day HR functions.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to deadline.

Ability to function independently and intuitively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated initiative; results-oriented.

Provide thought leadership to create and drive the subsea HR strategy.

Define and develop strategic insights and recommendations across a range of business-related challenges and opportunities.

Communicate strategies to senior management via well-structured, fact-based presentation packs/decks.

Improve existing analytical and strategic capabilities, and mentor analysts to become broader problem solvers and “internal consultants”.

Provide guidance and thought leadership on business improvement projects.

Acts as HR business partner for Senior Leadership in Subsea.

Design and align HR initiatives with business strategy and objectives.

Contribute to and challenge business plans with understanding of organizational implications.

Participate in strategic planning for Subsea.

Create and execute strategic plans to enhance performance through people development programs.

Oversee talent acquisition, development, and people management strategies for the BU.

Act as a consultant and facilitator for managers on hiring decisions.

Lead the design, development, and evaluation of the compensation strategy for the subsea business unit.

Manage HR staff and performance metrics.

Identify trends and make recommendations.

Proactively identify organizational issues and trends, diagnose processes and structures, and recommend improvements.

Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues.
