About you:
Are you a determined individual? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative to join our talented and high respected team at our Burgess Hill Depot.
You will be responsible for the preparation of all plant equipment for our skilled engineers to complete their pre hire checks. You will also be responsible for the tidiness and organisation of the yard whilst ensuring you follow all health and safety procedures. You will be familiar with driving plant equipment and will support the drivers by ensuring that the equipment is ready for them to deliver when required.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for keeping yard areas clean and tidy
- Loading and unloading of equipment
- Off Hire damages noted and reported
- Ensure that any plant equipment leaving the depot has been refuelled, pressure washed & cab is clean
- Machines parked in correct areas
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Always ensures work is completed to a high standard
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Keep up to date with Company policies and procedures
- Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Driving licence
- Experience working in the Plant Hire industry
- Towing licence
