Role: Semi Skilled Workshop Based Plant Fitter – Longcross Plant Sales Preparation Centre – Full time.
About you: Are you a determined individual with experience working with Plant Hire Machinery Industry? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plant Fitter to join our talented and highly respected team at our Longcross Plant Sales Preparation Centre.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for servicing and carrying out repairs on our large range of plant hire machinery (telehandlers, excavators, dumpers and rollers).
- You will be responsible for ensuring the equipment is safe and fit for sale by carrying out bespoke machine inspections and identifying any defective parts or damaged components that require repairing to a high standard.
- You must ensure you keep accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records.
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Always ensures work is completed to a high standard.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Keep up to date with Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Good knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and diesel fault-finding.
- Knowledge of diesel engines.
- Full driving license.
- Experience working in the Plant Hire industry.
