Role Overview
We are seeking a high calibre FMCG National Account Manager to join our branded sales team. The successful individual must have a minimum of 2 years Grocery Mults Account Management experience dealing with at least one of Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Asda, or Waitrose. Reporting directly to the Branded Sales Team Lead, you will have full P&L responsibility for your accounts and be expected to create and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve wider business goals. You will be expected to manage the whole sales process through pricing, forecasting, category reviews, NPD launches, whilst also liaising with finance and supply chain where necessary. Ideally, you will currently work for a recognised food, drink, or confectionery brand, and have a well-trained, structured, modern approach to account management.
Key Requirements
- Strong Branded FMCG Grocery experience.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Retailer systems.
- Demonstrable business acumen and analytical skills.
- An entrepreneurial drive to grow business.
- Ability to manage own workload and work autonomously.
- Ideally, knowledge of the confectionery market however this is not essential.
