You will lead by example, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel immediately at home.This is not a traditional hotel management role. You'll work closely alongside the Head Chef as part of a small, close-knit team, delivering a hospitality experience that feels more like staying in a beautiful country home than a hotel.. From personally welcoming arrivals and sharing local recommendations, to serving breakfast and dinner, maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards, and ensuring the house is always beautifully presented, you'll play a hands-on role in every part of the business.This is not a role where you manage from behind a desk. You'll be actively involved in hosting, service, housekeeping, guest engagement, and operational organisation, ensuring that East Haugh House consistently delivers an unforgettable experience.**You will:**Deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences from arrival to departure.Act as host, concierge, housekeeper, organiser and food & beverage professional.Oversee the presentation and cleanliness of guest bedrooms and public areas.Lead breakfast and evening dining service in a relaxed, informal setting.Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs.Curate memorable local experiences and recommendations.Maintain the pantry, drinks offering and \"help yourself\" philosophy.Support stock control, organisation and smooth day-to-day operations.Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider team to create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.**About you:**We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional who understands that outstanding service comes from genuine care and attention to detail.You will bring:Previous guest-facing hospitality experience.Strong food and beverage service skills.Knowledge of wine, spirits and drinks service.Experience serving breakfast, lunch or dinner in a quality hospitality environment.Excellent housekeeping and presentation standards.Strong organisational and time management skills.Confidence working independently and taking ownership.A proactive, hands-on approach to work.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.Enthusiasm for learning about the local area and sharing recommendations with guests.Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes pride in creating memorable experiences and enjoys making people feel genuinely welcome.This is a **live-in opportunity**, with accommodation provided on-site, alongside a competitive salary package, offering the chance to immerse yourself in a unique Highland hospitality experience while helping shape East Haugh House from the very beginning.This unique opportunity is available to either an **individual** or a **couple** interested in taking on the roles of **House Manager** and **Head Chef**.Please note, this role does not meet the requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.If you are interested in the role, we look forward to hearing from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
