You will support and assist the Executive Head Chef and Head Pastry Chef in effectively managing the pastry kitchen, ensuring the correct storage, preparation, cooking, and presentation of food across all food and beverage outlets in line with company standards.
The Role
As a Pastry Junior Sous Chef, you will play a key supporting role within our pastry team, working closely with the Head Pastry Chef and Executive Head Chef to deliver consistently high-quality desserts across all outlets. This is a hands‑on position where you’ll help drive standards, contribute creative ideas, and support the smooth running of the pastry section while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and production of high-quality pastry and dessert items for all food and beverage outlets
- Take responsibility for the pastry section during your shift, ensuring consistency and attention to detail
- Assist in developing new menu items, concepts, and seasonal desserts
- Supervise, train, and support junior pastry team members
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
- Manage food quality, portion control, and stock to minimise waste
