The role
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor you will assist the Restaurant management team in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and associated areas and be responsible for delivering a high level of service to all our guests.
This incorporates the smooth running of breakfast, lunch and dinner service, as well as room service.
Working in the Pineapple restaurant, outdoor dining domes or small private event areas you will help maximise revenue through first class service and establishing rapport with the guests.
Joining the dedicated Food and Beverage department, you will
- Manage the team to ensure customer service standards are met and customer enquiries are dealt with
- This is a vital role in the function of the hotel and ultimately the service provided to our guests enhances their stay.
With a smile and your infectious personality, you will enjoy chatting to our guests, offering help and assistance to enquiries.
- Keep the restaurant and stillroom areas clean and always well-presented and assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties of your department.
- Deliver outstanding customer care
- Be responsible for the opening and closing of the Restaurant and Bar
- Take responsibility for stock taking
- Assist with recruiting and training employees
- Deliver the highest standards in service and presentation.
- Assist with payroll, employee scheduling and administration.
About you
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, we ask that you take pride in your work and have a willingness to learn.
You’ll have a real passion for food and drink, and excellent attention to detail to provide amazing service.
You’ll also
- Have previous experience in a food or beverage role
- Ideally has experience of supervisory training
- Demonstrate the delivery of excellent standards
- Have a customer service attitude
- Have the ability to multi-task and organise a variable workload
- Hold a genuine desire to provide a Warmer Welcome to our guests
