Main duties of the job

Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the practice
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our electronic health record system
  • Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update medical records accurately
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing information or directing calls to appropriate staff
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently to minimize wait times
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing correspondence
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area to support a professional environment

Skills

  • Proven office experience with strong organizational abilitie
  • Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting is essential
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Office, EMIS, Accurx and Docman (desirable includes Anima and Abtrace)
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Molebridge is a GP practice that covers two sites, Leatherhead and Fetcham. It serves around 6000 patients covering a broad spectrum of inequalities, ages and minorities.
