Here at The Mole Resort, we have launched a brand-new resort set in acres of beautiful Devon countryside, jam-packed with delicious food and drink and a whole lot of exciting activities.
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the profitable and efficient running of our bars, restaurants, and event venues. You should possess excellent customer service skills and contribute to a fantastic guest experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and developing your team to meet Mole standards.
What will I be doing?
As F&B Manager at The Mole, you will manage the team and service to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, covering all tasks related to guests, team, and collaboration with other departments. Your goal is to ensure the food and beverage department provides proactive and professional service, delivering a seamless, safe, and memorable experience to all guests. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Review and maintain the highest standards of operation and service in line with the resort\’s overall strategy and industry trends.
- Be familiar with all operational standards and be available to cover roles during busy periods.
- Ensure the department is well-organized, tidy, and equipment is maintained.
- Lead our weddings and events, serving as a clear contact point for clients.
- Lead the team to interact daily with guests to seek feedback and build positive relationships and loyalty.
- Manage and maintain budgetary requirements regarding costs and payroll.
- Ensure team compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Ensure the product is brand-sensitive and provides exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead the team to upsell hotel services and promotions.
- Manage team development and performance using standard management tools, inspiring and motivating the team to promote morale and teamwork.
- Perform management roles in emergency situations as assigned by line manager and/or H&S Manager.
- Assist other departments as necessary, including familiarization visits and entertaining clients.
- Communicate effectively with other departments.
- Be proactive regarding the financial performance of the department, including budgets and payroll.
