Here at The Mole Resort, formerly the Highbullen Hotel, we have launched a brand-new resort set in acres of beautiful Devon countryside, jam-packed with delicious food and drink and a whole lot of exciting activities. As a Hot Tub assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional hot tub service to our guests ensuring maximum quality. You will support the Accommodation Manager in making sure standards are kept high.
What will I be doing?
As a Hot Tub assistant at The Mole, you are responsible to prepare hot tubs for guest arrival ensuring hygiene and compliance standards are met. During days of turnover, assist with the upkeep and cleaning of all hot tubs. Keep in mind the guest experience and carry out all general routine and Hot Tubs maintenance. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Planning and preparing hot tubs for guest arrival.
- Assisting the guests with operational issues around hot tubs.
- Possessing knowledge and experience in the requirements for looking after a Hot Tub, including understanding the chemicals used and COSHH requirements.
- Adhering to operating procedures and working risk assessments to facilitate an efficient service to the business and our guests.
- Highlighting any stock requirements and reporting any major maintenance issues to the maintenance manager.
- Dealing with guests in a professional, friendly manner, anticipating their needs, and providing a maintenance service to exceed their expectations.
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations, manual handling, and COSHH requirements are adhered to, and always working within health and safety resort policies.
- Communicating effectively with other departments, promoting the resort's facilities whenever possible and displaying positive teamwork.
- Complying with brand operating standards, attending and completing any required training, and acting on any reasonable request made by the management team.
- Complying with the hotel Health & Safety Policy, emergencies, evacuation, and security procedures, and behaving in line with the Company's environmental and energy-saving initiatives.
