The Mole Clinic is an award-winning specialist clinic, leading the way in skin cancer screening and mole removal services. We are dedicated to early detection and high-quality patient care, combining cutting-edge technology with expert clinical assessment.

We are now looking for a Skin Cancer Screening Nurse to join our expanding region in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside expert dermatologists and plastic surgeons while receiving specialist training in skin cancer screening, including our RCN-accredited training course.

The Role

Please note: The successful applicant must be available for two weeks initial training (Mon – Fri)

As a Screening Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting mole and lesion assessments using dermoscopy to support early detection of skin cancer. You will deliver exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with leading consultant dermatologists and plastic surgeons, and contribute to maintaining the high standards of our clinic.

While your primary base will be our Manchester City Centre clinic, there may be occasions where work is required in our London clinics, depending on diary demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine skin screenings and assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Liaising with specialist dermatologists and plastic surgeons.
  • Ensuring full compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (dermatology experience not required).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong clinical assessment skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours & Environment:

  • 40 hours a week, including some Saturdays and late evenings (7pm finish)
  • Work in a modern, well-equipped clinic.
  • Occasional travel to other clinics may be required based on diary demand.
