The Listings Editor provides a brilliant service to our clients by copy writing, editing and proofreading all sales listings before publication to our websites and supporting the wider team.

Purpose

To provide a brilliant service to our clients by copy writing, editing and proofreading all sales listings before publication to our websites. Working closely with the Appraisals team, the Listings Editor ensures our listings are compliant to industry rules, continuously of a high standard and provides copy support and an editorial eye.

Responsibilities

  • Copy writing listing content with style, accuracy and efficiency
  • Overseeing editing on all listings copy before publication, ensuring adherence to house‑style, internal formatting, compliance and SEO guidelines
  • Contributing to image selections in collaboration with the team
  • Floorplan formatting and amendments
  • Managing and updating listings house‑style guidelines

Qualifications

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organiser, time‑manager and multi‑tasker, as well as ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong architectural design / built environment knowledge and interest
  • Ability to receive, and provide, constructive criticism to/from colleagues
  • Motivated by commercial targets
  • Use of Adobe products

Team

The Listings Editor reports to the Photography and Listings Manager and sits within the Client Services Team. As it is a cross‑functional role, it also works closely with the Sales and Appraisals teams.
