Maintenance Assistant to join our team at The Mitre, Hampton Court.

Responsibilities
- Support the Maintenance or Facilities Manager in ensuring all allocated tasks are completed on schedule and to the highest standard.
- Be comfortable working independently, but also within a wider team of Maintenance Assistants, Gardeners at any given time.
- Be agile in responding to emergency maintenance calls, this includes internal teams, and external or third party contractors.
- Be guest focused and approachable, whilst ensuring discretion and awareness of our guests' time and privacy during their stay with us.
- Regularly conduct troubleshooting to solve minor technical, internal, or exterior issues (e. g., guest bedrooms, kitchen, bar).
- Remain calm under pressure, or when responding to urgent tasks, including power cuts or similar.
- Plan and oversee renovations and construction projects.
- Show initiative and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ensure all Company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety are being followed.
- Regularly conduct tests on all equipment and machinery ensuring it is safe to use, and does not pose any dangers to individuals.
