We are looking for an energetic and experienced Events Supervisor to join our Food and Beverage team at The Mitre, Hampton Court. Our 40‑bedroom hotel has been transformed into glamorous restaurants, cocktail bars, enchanting river terraces, an orangery, an all‑day café, and even a quirky library for the most curious. Nestled on the banks of the Thames beside Hampton Court Palace, The Mitre offers riverside elegance just 40 minutes from Central London.

This exciting role offers a dynamic opportunity to oversee the delivery of weddings, meetings, and events at The Mitre. Your focus will be ensuring an effective handover from sales to operations, inspiring and leading your team to deliver exceptional event experiences. You will:

  • Have at least 1-2 years' experience in a premium food and beverage outlet, wedding or events venue.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of weddings, meetings, and events throughout the hotel and our dedicated events space, The Orangery.
  • Work in partnership with sales to ensure there is clear and effective communication between departments.
  • Coordinate with guests and clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their vision is brought to life.
  • Manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and scheduling of team members and vendors.
  • Ensure delivery of events are to the highest service standards to achieve guest love and satisfaction.
  • Work in partnership with the Head of Food & Beverage, General Manager, and the Sales & Marketing team to optimise event offerings and drive revenue.
  • Actively participate and engage with all training and development opportunities for your role.
