Role: MARKETING INTERN - Performance / Digital Marketing & Insights - PART-TIME
Location: Birmingham
Part-time 12-Month Paid Internship (Suitable for a student placement, undergraduate or post-graduate but must be available to start immediately)

Role Description
This role sits right at the heart of what we do at TMC. It’s a brilliant opportunity to get under the skin of marketing combining curiosity, creativity and commercial thinking. You’ll work across data, digital and delivery, helping to turn insight into action and make our clients’ marketing work harder. It’s varied, fast-paced and genuinely hands-on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data, Analysis & Insight
Support monthly campaign reporting and data analysis across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, CitrusAd and retailer media. Help interpret data, trends and market intelligence to identify actionable insights that improve performance. Maintain and update dashboards and reports for both internal and client use, and where appropriate, share insight and recommendations in meetings or on client calls.
- Performance Marketing Execution
Help monitor social, retail and digital platforms - this includes eCommerce, paid media, email and affiliate marketing. Undertake campaign scheduling, data collection, reporting and optimisation across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Klaviyo and Shopify. Assist with website & Amazon updates and content uploads, ensuring data, imagery and pricing are accurate, and support SEO, PPC and Amazon activities to drive visibility and sales. Track key performance metrics, contribute to testing plans and help evaluate creative and audience performance.
- Project Work
Undertake market and research audits for clients; to gain a deeper understanding of a market, category, competitor, brands to support client strategy, understanding and intelligence. Develop insight reports and visual presentations to bring the insight to life and (where applicable) present to clients.
- Marketing & Team Support
Support the wider TMC team with social media management and planning including community management, content scheduling, content development and reporting. Help manage smaller marketing tasks or ad hoc client projects. Contribute ideas to creative brainstorms, planning meetings and new business proposals.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business or other relevant degree (studying for or completed)
- Work experience within a commercial organisation preferred
- Robust analytical, data and numerical skills
- Proven interest, passion and / or marketing experience preferred (especially digital or performance marketing)
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Microsoft Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player and proactive problem solver
- Ability to manage workload, multiple deadlines and work under pressure
- Pride in work and excellent attention to detail
- Take accountability of your own actions, leverage the team skillset and not being afraid to ask for help
- Current right to work and live in the UK without requirement of sponsorship or a Visa
