About You

The MiltonKeynes Academy is seeking a dedicated, organised and professional individual tojoin our team as Lead Exams Invigilator. This is a key role in ensuring thatexaminations are conducted efficiently, fairly and in accordance with awardingbody regulations. You will be committed to supporting students, maintaininghigh standards and contributing positively to the Academy's culture and values.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Excellent organisational skills and a meticulousattention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.
  • The ability to remain calm, professional andconfident when working under pressure.
  • Experience in an administrative role, ideallywithin an educational environment.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English andMathematics.
  • Good IT skills, including experience usingMicrosoft Word and Excel.
  • The ability to work independently whilst alsocontributing positively as part of a team.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work,particularly during busy examination periods.
  • High levels of integrity and discretion whenhandling confidential information.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality,diversity and inclusion.
  • The confidence to supervise examinationenvironments and ensure procedures are followed consistently.
  • A genuine desire to support students inachieving their full potential.

Our Exams Support Team works together to ensure examinations run smoothly, efficientlyand in line with regulations. Made up of a dedicated team of invigilators andour Exams and Data Officer, the team is supportive, collaborative and committedto providing the best possible experience for students. By working closelytogether, we create a calm and organised environment that helps studentsperform at their best.
