ContractType: Permanent, Full time (Term Time Only)
Working Pattern: 37 Hoursper week (Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pm)

About You
The MiltonKeynes Academy are looking for a caring, resilient and proactive individual whois passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential. Youwill have experience working with students, strong communication andrelationship-building skills, and the ability to remain calm and professionalin challenging situations.
You will becommitted to promoting positive behaviour, inclusion and student wellbeing,with a strong understanding of safeguarding and a belief that every youngperson can succeed. Above all, you will share our values and be dedicated tocreating a supportive environment where all students can thrive.
Our Idealcandidate will have:
- Have experience working with young people, ideallywithin an educational or pastoral support setting.
- Be passionate about helping students overcomebarriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
- Demonstrate a calm, patient and resilient approachwhen managing challenging situations.
- Have experience supporting students withbehavioural, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
- Build positive and professional relationships withstudents, families, colleagues and external agencies.
- Be an excellent communicator with stronginterpersonal and listening skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion andpromoting student wellbeing.
- Have theconfidence to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of awider team.
- Be organised, adaptable and able to managecompeting priorities.
- Share our values and have a genuine belief thatevery young person can succeed when given the right support.

Our team isdedicated to helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achievepositive outcomes. Working across both Ruston and the wider school, we provideconsistent, tailored support for students with complex behavioural needs. Weare a proactive, flexible, and collaborative team that adapts to the changingneeds of our students, creating opportunities for them to develop the skillsand confidence needed to succeed.
