Join Our Back-of-House Team at The Green Cafe – Staplehurst! Are you reliable, hardworking, and passionate about maintaining high standards behind the scenes? We’re looking for two dedicated Kitchen Assistants to support our busy kitchen team at the popular Green Café in Staplehurst. This is a vital role that helps ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the delivery of fresh, high-quality food and a great customer experience.
Your Role Will Include:
- Assisting in the preparation of fresh food and bakery items
- Keeping all kitchen and back-of-house areas clean, tidy, and hygienic
- Operating dishwashing equipment to clean crockery, cutlery, and utensils
- Supporting the Chef and Catering Manager in delivering a smooth and efficient service
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental Health, and Trading Standards regulations
- Reporting any equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the success of the restaurant
- Providing excellent customer service when required
Hours and Days:
- Position Ref: GRNCAFE3 - Friday 9:30 – 2:30, Saturday 9:30 – 3
- Position Ref: GRNCAFE4 - Monday 9:30 – 2:30, Tuesday 9:30 – 2:30, Sunday 10 - 3
