About the Role:
As a Food Hall & Butchers Counter Assistant, you’ll play a key part in delivering an exceptional experience for our customers. You’ll help keep our Food Hall and Butchers Counter running smoothly, safely, and looking fantastic – all while offering a warm welcome and expert advice to our visitors.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting the smooth and safe running of the Food Hall and Butchers Counter
- Ensuring stock is rotated and labelled correctly to maintain freshness and safety
- Following food safety policies to the highest standards
- Providing top-notch customer service with a smile
- Proactively engaging with customers to boost sales
- Presenting and selling high-quality meat products in a clean, hygienic environment
- Being a proud ambassador for Millbrook and contributing to our continued success
What We’re Looking For:
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be on your feet and part of a buzzing team. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a similar food or catering role (a bonus, but not essential!)
- Eager to learn and grow new skills
- A great communicator who enjoys working with people
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about quality food
- A proactive team player who takes pride in their work
- Must be over 18 due to some machinery you will have to handle.
- Must be comfortable with the handling of raw meat.
