This role offers a clear and supported pathway to partnership within a well‑led and high‑performing environment. Our current working pattern includes Monday morning, Tuesday (all day) & Thursday morning; we can offer flexibility for the right candidate.

We are keen to recruit an individual who is enthusiastic about working within a small, collaborative practice and is interested in developing a long‑term career with us. The successful candidate will be encouraged to become fully involved in practice life, contributing to high‑quality patient care, teamwork, and the ongoing development of services. Over time, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and leadership roles. For the right individual, we offer a transparent and supportive route to partnership, recognising commitment, shared values, and a desire to help shape the future direction of the practice.

As a key member of the team, you will manage a varied caseload, addressing a wide range of patient needs within a primary care setting, while maintaining high standards of care for our diverse population. You will work closely with a MDT comprising GP partners, salaried GP, nursing, allied health professionals, trainees & non‑clinical colleagues to provide a high‑quality, accessible service to all our registered patients.

Main duties of the job

You will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care across a range of general practice services, including face‑to‑face and remote consultations, home visits, and the management of both acute and long‑term conditions. The role involves working autonomously to assess and manage undifferentiated presentations, making clinical decisions, and coordinating care with the wider multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to the safe and effective running of the practice through clinical administration, prescribing, and referral management, while maintaining accurate records.

The post‑holder will also support quality improvement, audit, and teaching activities, alongside ongoing professional development and participation in practice and PCN initiatives. We operate a modern total triage model, ensuring all patient requests are clinically assessed and directed to the most appropriate clinician or service, supporting safe, efficient, and responsive care. The practice offers comprehensive services including chronic disease management, preventative care, and health promotion, delivered by a supportive multidisciplinary team. We are committed to continuous improvement, patient‑centred care, and adapting to the evolving needs of general practice.
