Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 Chemistry, ensuring all students make excellent progress and develop a love for science. Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Assess, track, and record pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking. Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support them in achieving their academic potential.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Technology. Participate in school events, trips, and enrichment activities that enhance students’ understanding of science and the wider world. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.
This role is suitable for both Experienced Teachers and ECTs. The role will initially be on a term basis to ensure a good fit for both the school and the candidate, with a possibility of becoming permanent. The school will look to interview as soon as possible for a September start.
