About this Role
Salary Scale Grade B point 3 – FTE £24,027, Actual Salary £5,654.35 per annum plus additional hours
10 hours per week – 38 weeks per year, Permanent Contract + commitment to attend two Autumn Term Non-Pupil Days (September Safeguarding refresher and Autumn term Safety Interventions refresher) which the successful candidate would be able to claim additional hours for.
Positions available will be based at our Rochford School location, Ernesettle, PL5 2PY.
We are looking to appoint several flexible, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking individuals to join our outstanding team.
Our Mealtime Assistants are required to work 2 hours a day, 5 days per week and term time only. Experience or knowledge of autism, Severe Learning Disability and Profound & Multiple Learning disability would be advantageous but is not essential as full training and support will be provided. Initial training will include Safety Interventions which involves several hours online training and one full day in person training which the successful candidate would be able to claim additional hours for.
The role can be challenging and does require a high level of resilience, but successful candidates will have the opportunity to support our incredible & amazing children and young people, with the full support of colleagues in class and the school as a whole, and share in their successes.
We are committed to Safeguarding and expect all staff to share this commitment – an enhanced DBS disclosure, online checks and satisfactory references are required for this post.
