- Plan and deliver high‐quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 Chemistry, ensuring all students make excellent progress and develop a love for science.
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‐structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Assess, track, and record pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support them in achieving their academic potential.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Technology.
- Participate in school events, trips, and enrichment activities that enhance students' understanding of science and the wider world.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.
This role is suitable for both Experienced Teachers and ECTs. The role will initially be on a term basis to ensure a good fit for both the school and the candidate, with a possibility of becoming permanent. The school will look to interview as soon as possible for a September start.
