We are looking for a talented and driven Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team at The Mill Hotel, Sudbury, part of Surya Hotels. The Mill Hotel is a 62 bedroom hotel overlooking the meadows, with a lively restaurant, busy bar and extensive outdoor seating. The Gainsborough Room brings an extra buzz, hosting events and private functions that keep the kitchen busy and varied. The Breakfast Chef role will require:

  • The cleaning and maintaining of equipment
  • Complying to food safety and other regulations and rules as set out by the business
  • Preparing and cooking items on the menu
  • Organising and labelling the kitchen and its storage
  • Managing and ordering in stock
  • Keeping wastage to a minimum
