We are currently recruiting a passionate Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at our luxury hotel. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with experience in a four or five-star hotel or fine dining environment, looking to grow and develop their pastry skills in a supportive, high-standard kitchen. You will report directly to the Pastry Chef and Executive Head Chef.

Location: The Milestone Hotel & Residences

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: 8 Hours a Day / 5 Days a Week.

Key Responsibilities of a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie:

  • Assist in the daily preparation and service of pastry and desserts.
  • Support the Pastry Chef in running the section efficiently.
  • Contribute to the creation of desserts for à la carte, banqueting and afternoon tea.
  • Maintain high standards of consistency, quality and presentation.
  • Always ensure cleanliness and organisation of your section.
  • Follow stock rotation procedures and assist with stock checks.

  • A foundation in classical and contemporary pastry techniques.
