We are currently recruiting a passionate Demi Chef de Partie Pastry to join the culinary team at our luxury hotel. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with experience in a four or five-star hotel or fine dining environment, looking to grow and develop their pastry skills in a supportive, high-standard kitchen. You will report directly to the Pastry Chef and Executive Head Chef.

The Milestone Hotel and Residences is a beautiful five-star hotel located opposite Kensington Palace Gardens and close to The Royal Albert Hall. This property has 43 individually designed bedrooms, 13 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, a modern Stables Bar and a 2 Rosettes restaurant, named Cheneston's.

Key Responsibilities of a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie:

  • Assist in the daily preparation and service of pastry and desserts.
  • Support the Pastry Chef in running the section efficiently.
  • Contribute to the creation of desserts for à la carte, banqueting and afternoon tea.
  • Maintain high standards of consistency, quality and presentation.
  • Always ensure cleanliness and organisation of your section.
  • Follow stock rotation procedures and assist with stock checks.
