THE ROLE

As a Senior Project Lead at The Midnight Club, you are influential in the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from brief to completion, leading from the front and informing how we produce great work. You lead the internal engine of a project — managing timelines, resources, workflow, and financial tracking — ensuring client needs are crystal clear and teams are set up to deliver their best work. Collaborating closely with your Client Director, who is responsible for driving the onward strategic business unit growth and pipeline, beyond current projects.

While Client Leadership owns the relationship and is responsible for growth, you are a key point of contact for the client, owning parts or whole projects where required, representing the interests of the team and business, to reach the best outcome for client and company.

This role requires someone with leadership skills who is highly organised, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure, who thrives on making complex projects run smoothly while safeguarding quality and commercial performance. A strong understanding of how we successfully take a client brief through to delivery, and how to get the best out of multi-disciplinary teams. You are the backbone of every project.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Take ownership to build out all project scopes, review with Client Leadership & Production to ensure alignment and document on all essential platforms.
  • Adjust your level of client-facing involvement versus operational delivery depending on project requirements and the wider CL team involved. Stepping up to guide client conversations or prioritising internal workflows, as needed.
  • Responsible for the financial management of TMC fees within a project. Whilst ultimate profitability accountability lies with the CL lead.
  • Ensuring all projects have detailed critical paths & drive them internally.
  • Leading project teams’ internal workflows/resource bookings to ensure briefings, internal reviews and client responses happen on schedule.
  • Lead the execution & delivery of campaign assets, ensuring all planned assets are created and delivered on schedule.
  • Making informed autonomous decisions for projects, escalating for further approvals when necessary.
  • Help with admin to onboard and source freelancers.
  • Manage the tracking of spend on freelancers on your projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks. Escalate when required.
  • Be able to track deliveries weekly.
  • Design and implement a new delivery framework, tool or workflow that improves efficiency, reduces risk or strengthens creative output — and roll it out successfully across multiple project teams.
