About the Role
As a Field Collections Agent, you'll be the friendly face of Orbit, meeting customers at their homes to help them find a way forward with their finances. You'll offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions that make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment options
- Handle accounts for both regulated and non‑regulated clients, including reconnection visits
- Accept payments, set up repayment plans, and re‑engage customers with client services
- Educate customers about the potential consequences of non‑payment
- Use an Orbit‑supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real time
Candidates who have previously been successful in this role come from backgrounds in Sales, Military, or Police.
Working Hours
We offer a 40‑hour work week with a supportive approach to work‑life balance. Your visits will be scheduled across the following operating window:
- 40 hours per week required
- Operating hours: Monday‑Friday 8am‑8pm; Saturday 9am‑1pm
- 10 of your 40 hours must be worked during prime hours. Prime hours are 4pm‑8pm Monday‑Friday and Saturday 9am‑1pm.
