What will the role involve?
As our Cook, you will be the expert nutritionist for the nursery, responsible for the preparation and serving of healthy and nutritionally balanced meals. You will support the team to enable families to make healthy food choices and educate our children in the importance of balanced food choices. Working alongside our society’s policies and procedures, you will ensure compliance with the Food Standards Agency and work to the highest standards.
Who are we looking for?
- Enhanced DBS check (we’ll cover the costs!)
- Food Hygiene level 2 or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and COSHH requirements
- Experience in catering for large numbers
