Here at the Mick George Group, we are hiring a Mobile Plant Fitter.
Role Overview:
Responsible for the site and roadside attendance of tyre removal, fitting, and repair on our extensive fleet of HGV’s, cars, vans, and plant vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- To attend breakdowns, inspect and complete defects to vehicles as arranged by the tyre management team.
- To ensure company fitting procedure is always followed.
- Roadside assistance for any breakdowns that may occur.
- Daily digital fleet inspections.
- Effective stock control.
- To complete digital worksheets on time and correctly.
- Maintaining and operating a company-issued van.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in a similar role working in a busy fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with HGV’s.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexible around working hours.
- Knowledge of plant tyres (Desirable).
